Roseann Bacha-Garza is currently a Lecturer of Anthropology and the Program Manager of the CHAPS Program at UTRGV. She is co-author of Blue and Gray on the Rio Grande: The Rio Grande Valley Civil War Trial and co-editor of The Civil War on the Rio Grande as well as The Native American Peoples of South Texas. The book Images of America: San Juan was authored by Roseann and the San Juan Economic Development Corporation which won Preservation Texas’s Heritage Education Award.
