As part of the #STBF Special Events Series, we would like to welcome Lupe Mendez (Texas Poet Laureate, 2022) and Victoria Lopez (McAllen Poet Laureate, 2022) to McAllen Public Library on Wednesday, November 9th from 6:00-7:30pm in the Main Library's Auditorium!
Q&A with Emmy Pérez (UTRGV Creative Writing) & Carolina Monsivais (STC MAS Program). After the reading and Q&A, Lupe Mendez will lead participants in a writing exercise.
This event is co-hosted by McAllen Public Library, the UTRGV Center for Mexican American Studies, and the UTRGV Department of Creative Writing.
