Join us for a fun afternoon of painting and artmaking! This seven part series encourages participants to engage with and explore the world of art-making. Registration required.
“Kintsugi” – August 3
Discover the beauty of repair in “Kintsugi,” inspired by the Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold. Patrons will reassemble a broken ceramic plate using gold-colored hot glue and learn about the philosophy behind this meaningful practice.
“Monochromatic” – August 17
This session challenges artists to work with a single color and black and white tones. “Monochromatic” explores how using just one hue can express powerful moods, themes, and visual contrast.
“Tiles” – August 24
Our final session, “Tiles,” invites patrons to play with alcohol inks or acrylics on ceramic tiles. With a focus on color theory and creativity, this fun, freeform class is perfect for making unique keepsakes or gifts.
